It is a short 5 days trek leading from Paro to Thimphu or vice versa crossing the chain of mountains that separate these two valleys. Although the trek seems short, it still goes as high as 4100meters, making it moderately strenuous. The route is sparsely populated but there are wonderful lakes teeming with fish and the area is famous for its spectacular rhododendrons that bloom in May. In the clear weather of late autumn and winter there is a magnificient view over the high Himalayas.
